Very strong tool By: DK-BUYER, on May 23, 2013 Pros: Cons: "I just got this little Chain Tool and I love it. Not only is it made from sturdy material but there is actually an extra "pin" in case you will break the installed one. It also has an adjustable bottom, so that you can adjust the thickness of the chain you need to "break"! |

It has a nice ergonomic handle; the steel is reasonably hard; and it comes with a spare pin. It's also a good price. That puts it way ahead of he cheapo garbage out there - of which there is a metric ton. I criticise the tool for having a bit too much slack in the threads, but that is not a show stopper, it just makes it slightly less easy to use than it would otherwise be. However, you have to understand one very important thing about how to use this tool... |
