. The Vitus Chain Catcher is an inexpensive way of protecting your expensive carbon frame from possible damage due to overshifting on the inner chainring. With the added benefit of eliminating chain drop this is a must have for racers and serious cyclists. The construction is extruded alloy which has been CNC profiled to remove excess material and any sharp edges ensuring effective performance with every shift. We have even machined serrations on the rear of the bolt hole to ensure unwanted movement does not occur further reducing the chance of unwanted chain drop.
