Constructed from shock resistant plastic the guard mounts using adjustable rubber straps and features soft rubber fins to ensure the guard stays firmly in place with no twisting and more importantly it wont mark or damage your frame. The mudguard attaches to the frame in two places, one via a plastic clip which fits onto the base of the downtube of the frame and (supposedly) via an L shaped metal bracket which slips into a groove on the top of the mudguard, allowing this to be bolted onto the frame. However, after assembly, there was a 6 inch gap between the bracket and the attachment point to the frame. This... |
