With progressive Trail Motion Geometry, 140mm suspension, wide tyres and a dropper post, its designed for riders who want to tackle more technical terrain without moving to a full suspension bike.Cube builds the frame from Aluminium Lite using its Advanced Mechanical Forming process. Trail Motion Geometry gives the Reaction TM Pro its more aggressive trail focus, while a tapered head tube, Boost 148 rear end and 15x110mm Boost fork provide modern interfaces for the wheels and suspension.The frame also uses SRAMs Universal Derailleur Hanger UDH, making replacement hangers easier to source. An ISCG05 interface provides provision for a compatible chain guide, while internal cable routing keeps the frame looking tidy.A RockShox Psylo Silver RC Air fork provides 140mm of travel. Its air spring can be adjusted to suit rider weight and setup preferences, while the longer travel is designed to provide additional control and impact absorption when riding rougher, steeper trails.SRAM Eagle 90 Transmission provides a 1x12 drivetrain. The direct mount Eagle 90 Transmission rear derailleur is paired with an Eagle 90 shifter, 32T DUB chainset, Eagle 70 T Type chain and wide range XS 1270 10 52T cassette.The single chainring setup keeps shifting straightforward, while the 10 52T cassette provides a broad spread of ratios. The rims are tubeless ready, and the supplied specification doesnt state the wheel diameter, so Ive avoided assigning an unsupported 27.5in or 29in size.Continental Kryptotal tyres are fitted front and rear in a wide 2.4in size. Both use the Enduro Soft construction and are tubeless ready, but each end gets a position specific tread pattern. The Kryptotal Front prioritises steering grip and control, while the Kryptotal Rear is designed around rear wheel traction and braking.Because both the Newmen rims and Continental tyres are tubeless ready, the bike can be converted to tubeless without changing either. A tubeless setup can allow lower pressures for additional grip and comfort while sealant can deal with many smaller punctures.A Cube dropper post is fitted as standard and operated by a handlebar remote. Dropping the saddle out of the way gives the rider more room to move around the bike on steep or technical descents, before returning it to full height for efficient pedalling.Newmen also supplies the cockpit, with an Evolution 318.4 stem paired with a Beskar 318.40 handlebar featuring its VariGrip System.
