It blends aerodynamic efficiency with low weight, creating a bike thats responsive on climbs, stable at speed and efficient across a wide range of road riding.The latest Soloist frame builds on Cervélos racing heritage by refining aerodynamic performance without adding unnecessary weight. Using extensive computational fluid dynamics CFD development, Cervélo reshaped key areas including the head tube, fork legs and bottom bracket junction to improve airflow through the bike. The result is a claimed reduction of 8.6 watts in aerodynamic drag compared to the previous Soloist, while optional aero bottles can deliver further aerodynamic gains.Despite increasing the aerodynamic surface area of both the frame and fork, Cervélo has also reduced overall weight. The complete bike comes in around the UCI minimum race weight, giving riders a machine that accelerates eagerly, climbs efficiently and maintains speed on flatter roads.A full carbon fork complements the frame with excellent front end stiffness and precise steering, while helping absorb road vibration to improve comfort during longer rides.
